A Longform for Newbies Showcase
Join the students of Rocket Improv’s Longform for Newbies class for their end-of-session showcase, directed by Dave Maulbeck.
For eight weeks, they’ve been learning the fundamentals of NYC-style longform improv: building scenes together, following patterns, listening closely, supporting each other, and discovering what happens when nobody knows what’s coming next.
Now they’re putting it all onstage.
Everything you’ll see will be created in the moment, inspired by a suggestion from the audience. No scripts. No pre-planned scenes. Just a group of improvisers trusting their training, their teammates, and—perhaps unwisely—the first thing that pops into their heads.
